After less than a month from the first round held at Monza with 48 new Huracán Super Trofeo Evos on the grid, this weekend (May 18 to 20) the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will be taking place on the 5.9 Km of the historic Silverstone track with a high level line-up. The English circuit will thus be hosting the continental series for the ninth time in ten editions of the one-make series whose anniversary is being celebrated this year. A little less than 50 cars are expected on the track and 22 teams will be participating in the event but not without some news.

All eyes will also be on Dilantha Malagamuwa the only driver participating from Sri Lanka for Lamborghini Super Series. Last time at Monza he couldn’t make an podium finish due to the accident he met in the first race. Dilantha is competing with number 15 and he will be driving a black color car this time for the european series. Dilantha is teamed up with GDL Racing and team is looking forward for a good show.

The first of the two 50-minute races, with a rolling start and mandatory pit stop to be made between the 20th and the 30th minute, will take place on Saturday, May 19th at 2:40 p.m. (3.40 p.m. CEST). Race 2 will kick off on Sunday, May 20th at 11:30 a.m. (12:30 p.m. CEST). The two 20-minute qualifying sessions will be held on Saturday, whereas on Friday the day will start with free practice.

Wishing Dilantha Malagamuwa, all the very best for the race this weekend #teamMSN.
